Wink was awesome. Polar makes one that tastes just like it - Half and Half.
Its absolutely vile and my folks had it in the house all the time in the 70s
LOL. It made me throw up a couple times when I was a kid. Second time was the last time my mom gave it to me.
When I saw the article this is what first popped into my mind.
Tab? Can’t give you a tab unless you order something.
Coca Cola is apparently not making caffeine free coke. Caffeine free Diet Coke is on the shelves though.
In my area Pepsi Caffene free diet is not available, can issue. We switched to the Coke caffene free diet.
Can shortage? Is this why I can’t get my preciousssss Cherry Coke Zero???
I don’t drink soda so this won’t hurt me but I loved their Odwalla juices which they bought from a couple Santa Cruz hipsters. I think we’ll see more of this throughout the corporate world, tightening their belts for the long haul, less variety
Yes Gin, bathtub variety!
What is the can issue?
She didn’t know she put him down until the bartender clued her in. She was pretty naive.
Brings up a good point and a short story:
Back in college I worked for a time making candy and granola mixes for a company. They made a LOT of carob coated products deemed natural with a lot of their products deemed organic. I noticed one day the carob machine had pallets of sugar fed in to the small silo. The engineer said it took more sugar to make carob sweet than it does chocolate and they get around the “natural” as sugar is indeed natural...and processed.
It was a lesson learned. Even so I used to ( past tense) like Odwalla if I am too lazy to make my own smoothies.
2 reasons..
1.Because of the Chinus people are eating at home and doing take-out instead of restaurants, there is higher demand for canned beverages than previously.
2. Also because of the Chinus people are throwing away cans instead of recycling them.Because a lot of aluminum comes from recycled cans, means there is less aluminum on the market, so fewer cans are made and most of those are going to the breweries instead of the soda makers (beer is not popular in plastic bottles).
I used to drink Moxie as a teenager. I thought it was pretty good.
I remember that! That was nasty, but in a different direction from that of Tab.
That and Fresco was the only soda my mom had in the house when I was a kid. Yeech.
She was smart. She knew that it would always be there.

Moxie made in Lisbon Maine, is still around. They celebrate with a Moxie festival every summer. Sadly, it was not to be this summer.
Lol, me too. I usually drink Jim Beam with soda water and a splash of Coke. Once in awhile I break out the Lagavulin. The smokiest, peatiest scotch I have ever had, two fingers of it over one ice cube.
lagavulin - thats the fancy stuff! Ive had a few bottles of laphroaig and Glendronach, and got a bottle of Macallen 25 as a bday present once. But I dont drink anything much anymore. Just gives me a headache after a few sips.
I suppose. I guess Tab isn’t really advertised much. What perplexes me is their Odwalla juices were selling but they nixed that also. I think you’re right though, probably streamlining...but why? Economy isn’t as “good” as the professionals are letting on?
I just wish I could find Cherry RC more easily!
