I drink Coke Life when i can find it. About half the calories of Coke - made with Stevia and cane sugar. Good luck finding it since the pandemic.

Didn’t Sam kinison always walk onto to stage with a six pack of the stuff? Or was it some other comedians back in the day?

Thanks for the info. You can’t even buy Caffeine free Coke in bottles in my area. Very strange how you can buy Caffeine Free Diet Coke in cans & bottles. I actually called Coca Cola & they blamed it on Covid.

If it were, they would sell off the brand to a smaller producer and see if it sinks or swims.

That would be a risky move, because older people who didn't hear about the sale would still associate the brand with Coca-Cola.

It also might be the case that no smaller producer would want to pay for the brand because the only thing it has going for it is the distribution network. If any brand has negative equity, it's Tab. (Also, the market share of diet sodas has been shrinking over the past 20 years or so, in favor of energy drinks and specialty juices.

My great-aunt used to drink Wink, a grapefruit soda.

Saw a 3L bottle of Wink at the International Food Mart last week.

What perplexes me is their Odwalla juices were selling but they nixed that also.

I've never heard of those, but then I tend to avoid that product category as a whole. It might just be that the market was too crowded with competitors. (You'd think at the prices they get ($$$$), the profit margins would be pretty high, but ingredients costs and shelf life issues might make me wrong on that.)
