Being in upstate, I hibernate so I have little contact with folks.
There should be a BIG warning that the shot will be extremely painful because of the specially designed square needle that needs to be shoved down to the shoulder bone. Those who are sensitive to needle pokes should bring a leather strap to clench their teeth on; like during Civil War amputations.
The sound of babies wildly crying will fill the area marking the death of Covid-19. Drumroll.
Friends of soy boys will have to accompany them to the injection site and be prepared to hold them forcibly while they scream and writhe with pain. Gong sound.
/sarc.
It’s the fear of the needle that’s at the core of it, isn’t it?
I agree...We’ll be wearing masks every fall...till spring.....until people say...shove it.
I started taking Valtrex too late.
I was 10 days in and didn’t know what was happening to me.
Because I hate going to med facilities, and the rona was on.
It’s said if you take Valtrex early...first 2-3 days...the duration of the episode is reduced to 3-4 weeks.
I don’t know what the hell people did in 1920. I suspect some committed suicide. It’s still the #1 pain induced cause of suicide in the nation.

“Wow. That sounds like it was scary. Glad you both came through it ok!”
This was happening exactly a year ago.
Supposedly, CV19 was not a factor yet. However, a Stanford study released later, showed at that time CV19 was here. We didn’t know that at that time.
None of our female relatives even had the sniffles at that time or later.
Several of our male church friends had varying levels of this crud. One, a Wharton Phd. labeled it the Comcast/AT&T male crud. As there were no personal connections, just emails and phone calls. That was months before we knew anything about CV19.
Again, none of the females in our families had any of this crud.
The thing some of the really serious side effects may not show up for about 5 years, so if so your screwed.
When in the U.S. Navy, they gave the entire ship inoculations to prepare for a trip to Samsun, Turkey. Instead of needles they injected with a high pressure injection system. We got two of them in the right shoulder area and one on the left. The dark bruises lasted for a week and our shoulders felt like they were hit with a baseball bat. There was no soy boy crying from us. We took it like men knowing it was to protect us from the gung crud that could hit us while at watch on the sonar monitor.
I don’t recall the name of the disease, it was the one that the Doctor in Florida claimed to treated 40 or 50 every day, but no records of ordering the actual drug.
IIRC he is still in jail.
Qiviut!
Very interesting, I enjoy working with wool, quilts mostly from felted wool sweaters and currently anoraks from wool blankets. Some needle felting...
A few old pics but you have to click through #32

I have Covid now. That will be my vaccine.
I’m sorry, and hope you are doing alright. Do you have symptoms?
The reason I had the test is that I noticed some things that didn’t seem ‘normal’ for me, even though they weren’t overt; and I’ve heard so many stories of people who have apparently had it, but had no symptoms.
How old are you Grunt? If you served in the 1990s you would have been vaccinated with both anthrax and smallpox for sandbox 1 I certainly was and I can tell you not only myself but dozens of other men in my unit were laid out after the first anthrax shot. 104F+ fevers, whole side of our body numb and lose of movement entirely for a few days in the limb we got the shot in. This was shot one of THREE the second and the third were not so bad but still was high on the suck O meter. Smallpox made my whole arm numb and took weeks to get the full pain out of it. We took the jabs like men not a bunch of whiney Mary’s
“square needle”
The famous square needle!!!
In RVN we had to get IIRC gamma globuin(?) shot for hepatitis.
That sucker was the worst out of all the pages on my shot record.
Rumor had it, square needles!
IIRC, the actual problem from being an intramuscular and large volume shot?
The hydroxychlorine cocktail is a comparative walk in the park. Major improvement within 24 hours and testing negative within 5 days.
“How old are you Grunt? “
I’m a young septuagenarian!
RVN 68, 69, 70.
See#73 about the gamma globuin(?) shot.
Not one I would have forgotten.
“Cuz I ain’t takin’ it until I see millions of people prove to me that they are just fine after taking it.”
That’s not an adequate set of test cases. You won’t know the full range of reactions until a sufficiently mutated strain appears, to look for possible unwanted hyper-immune system activation. This happened in earlier SARS vaccine animal studies, and killed the subjects.
A reletive working in a hospital tested positive, after a few days VERY SICK!!!
Admitted and given HCQ, next day much better, third day sent home.
NB:HCQ is the same stuff we took as a prophylaxis for malaria in RVN.
Me and one million of my buddies.
You had the WuFlu
That’s a very interesting point.
But it costs a lot of money to mount a lawsuit like that, and get it to the Supremes.
You may want to try BHT which will put he herpes virus into remission and also gets rid of shingles. I have been taking it off and on whenever the need arises for about thirty years and have not had the flu, works the same with the family of corona viruses. If you want customer reviews go to Amazon and look up BHT along with all the customer feedback. If you like more info a reply to this will get it.
