Lucian Lincoln “Lin” Wood Jr
Wikipedia
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/L._Lin_Wood
[Excerpts:]
Early life
He stated that his family struggled financially with frequent episodes of domestic abuse involving his parents.[8][9] He has one sister, Diane Wood Stern, born February 1951 and a half sister, Linda Martin, born in 1946. After a school dance, the then 16-year-old Wood returned home to find his father had beaten his mother to death.[8][9][10] L. Lin Wood Sr. pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter, a charge reduced from first-degree murder.[11] He served a little over two years in prison. Wood has stated that it was this experience that solidified his earlier decision to become a lawyer.[8][9][10]
[...]
2020 election
Some Republicans cast doubt on Wood’s efforts to help Trump by noting that Wood had donated to numerous Democratic candidates for office as recently as 2018.[34] Due to his past support of Democrats, including former President Barack Obama, Wood was accused by Breitbart of “sabotage” against Republicans, specifically against Senators David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler in the January 2021 runoff elections for both of Georgia’s Senate seats. Wood rebutted the allegations on Twitter, writing, “Breitbart is dishonest. Historically, I am nonpartisan. This year, I was partisan because I love [Donald Trump]” and describing hundreds of thousands of dollars he had donated to Republican-affiliated candidates and political action committees in 2020.[35]

I still gotta ask, how does controversy re Lin Wood’s reputation impact the advice that it’s better to be safe than sorry, and that we prepare in case of civil disruption?

How is that bad? He cites Nancy Pelosi’s hints that they will set up their own presidency - again I don’t see how this is bad.

So hopefully FReepers will still prepare for disruptions as we enter unprecedented controversy over the 2020 election, and patriots fight to have elections actually mean something.

"Remember we only have 1 President at a time..."

Just hypothetically, suppose, just suppose, that everything is so snarled up by Jan 20, that no clear winner can be declared.

At 12 noon, Trump and Pence's terms expire, Neither Bide nor Trump can be sworn in.

Next in the line of legal succession is... is... is...

Nancy Pelosi!

Then in an interview, Nancy pointed out that she in in line for succession with a weird little smirk on her face.

See post #45...

Was prepared before the “pandemic”, even more prepared now.

That’s a great point. Wise people will continue to prepare for disasters. Family and I do it as though it’s an ongoing hobby. It’s fun! It’s the season for ice storms where I live anyway. Dry goods like flour, salt, sugar, yeast, baking powder, canned goods,...

In case the lights go out,... “Ferro rods” for starting fires are easy to use and to store, as are cotton balls, char-cloth, magnesium filings, paraffin, covered kindling, rocket stoves, etc. And there are many ways besides ferro rods to start fires.

It’s also wise to periodically do something to improve privacy in your communications, too (open source software, VPNs, encryption for VOIP, private e-mail services, privacy apps for phones,...).

A little beside the point, in a way, but for firearms enthusiasts, there are still plenty of AR-15s and parts out there, if you look (try midwayusa.com). What’s important here, is that the more commonly owned and used a type of firearm is (example: “modern sporting rifles,” AKA AR-15s), the more it will help us in the next related high court case, as written by several originalist justices so far. There’s also some ammo for those here and there nearly every day.

I do believe that's why Pelosi reminded the public that she was in the line of succession - all said with that creepy twisted smile of hers. Biden is gonna have a hard time "holding it together" long enough to fake a win, anyway.

But what if information is released prior to January 20th implicating her in treason? Biden Treason? Governors of Treason? :D

Also in case the lights go out in ice storms and for those with electric ranges,... I mentioned alternative methods for fires for cooking. There are also alternatives for making bread. Bread can be fried in a skillet with a little practice. It can also be baked in a dutch oven. [Little caution here for anyone who doesn’t already know. Don’t use charcoal fires or wood fires indoors. Carbon monoxide kills.]

And for those who are in all-electric houses and don’t have any other way to heat a house, see if there are any gas stations within 50 miles that sell “K-1” kerosene (must be K-1: the only safe fuel for indoor heating with non-vented kerosene heaters). If so, you might consider getting a couple of kerosene heaters. But follow all safety instructions for fueling and using those. Very dangerous if not careful.

That said, a kerosene heater can make a place nice and toasty. I most recently bought a few plastic fuel jugs full of K-1 kerosene for $3.459 at a station about 33 miles away. Don’t forget to buy jugs first, and don’t put kerosene in red gasoline jugs (more of a theft risk). Choose another color. And label your jugs, “kerosene.”

And again, *be careful.* Read instructions for those heaters. There are quite a few tutorials at YouTube.

*And another thing. *Don’t* put diesel fuel in those heaters. Diesel fuel will ruin the fiberglass wicks.* Don’t take the advice of those who have used diesel fuel (and lost). The fuel is reasonably priced at gas stations in most areas (but not all), if you look long and hard enough for a station that sells it.

Then take cover, and get ready for easy wins in the next elections if not before. We could pass the time with entertainment from the Nancy Pelosi show. She would be the last female acting as president. Same goes for mean, old Camel Lips Harris. Nine out of ten Democrats would be clobbered by poverty and other problems after such a debacle. If they have no voters left to cheat with, they'll be out off useful idiots to use for cannon fodder. ;)

Then...Donald Trump Jr. and a full Republican Congress in 2024!

I believe that Democrats are about to shoot themselves in their feet anyway. The incoming Biden Administration will be the greatest joke on Democrats ever.

My Dyna-Glo kerosene heaters don’t emit any odor except when being lit or turned off. We only use one at a time in the living room during the coldest nights, though, and we come and go through the front door fairly often.

We also dry burn each of them after each two or three tanks of fuel used. They are partially disassembled for brushing the tops of the wicks with a toothbrush once in a while, if the wicks are partially hardened.
