“ as the Chinese coronavirus continues to grip the nation...”. LOL!
It’s our LYING LEADERS gripping the nation!
This virus is OVER, if media could recognize facts!
CDC Covid-19 Survival Rates
As of 10/2020
Age 0-19 — 99.997%
Age 20-49 — 99.98%
Age 50-69 — 99.5%
Age 70+ — 94.6%
I posted this at the Nextdoor website and am getting several Karens claiming they know many people personally who have died. They will not say how old or what underlying conditions or reject the democrats blocking HCQ medicine plus reject the CDC own Survival Rates. Cannot argue with crazy people.
It could be answered by testing all the participants for SARS-Cov2. They only tested if the participant had âÂÂsevere respiratory illnessâÂÂ. They did not test any of the 3000+ participants with symptoms that didnâÂÂt fall into that category. Those 3000 participants represent 10% of total participants. They also did not test for asymptomatic cases.
They donâÂÂt make any claims about preventing cases. They explicitly didnâÂÂt test for that. They only tested the severe cases, and the reduction was significant. If you were concerned of getting a severe case leading to hospitalization, then the vaccine is a good idea. But if you think the vaccine is 95% effective at prevention of illness, the study doesnâÂÂt test for that. It is 95% effective at reducing severe Covid cases. ThatâÂÂs it.
The only reason to get the vaccine is to reduce your risk of getting a severe case of Covid. You have a 1% chance of severe Covid with the placebo and a 0.05% chance of severe illness with the vaccine. That is a 95% reduction.
Here is the FDA info on the Pfizer study. https://www.fda.gov/media/144245/download
They only tested the severe cases for Covid. The reduction in that category was 95%. They did not test any of the milder cases. 9.2% of vaccine participants had mild Covid symptoms and 10.4% of placebo participants had mild symptoms (p. 42 of document). These cases are called âÂÂsuspected CovidâÂÂ. They may be Covid, or they may just be a cold. We donâÂÂt know. We also donâÂÂt know if there were any asymptomatic cases because they did not test for that either. So no claim can be made about prevention. It simply wasnâÂÂt tested for. However, it looks like it has little effect, given the totals for âÂÂsuspected CovidâÂÂ. I would imagine that is why they didnâÂÂt test for it. The results would not have gotten approval. Still, I think this vaccine seems to be very effective if you were concerned about getting a severe case. It really helps a lot with that.
I look forward to pissing on his grave. I hate him so much I would piss on his open coffin in front of everybody.
Oh, I get it! They're just renaming Hydrochloroquine! THAT'S THE TICKET!
The virus is not over. We have hospitals full of sick and dying people
and not all of them are elderly. Lockdowns and masks do not work but that does not mean the disease is not causing real pain
ok
anyone here demanding actual science
HIS STATEMENT IS NOT SCIENCE
SOME BIG BULLSHIITE IS GOING ON HERE
no vaccines dont block infection
because they dont guarantee that they do
because people still get sick after taking them
thats the real fine print they dont mention unless pressed hard about the real truth
and some people get sick from the vaccine, albeit usually a milder case of whatever was in the vaccine itself

This is the FDA document, they only test trial participants if they have a severe case. That is described on p. 13. The vaccine succeeded in reducing severe Covid cases by 95%. But they do not test everyone. On p. 42 of the document, they describe the âÂÂsuspected Covidâ cases. These participants, who had milder symptoms, were not tested. Also the participants with no symptoms were not tested either, so we no nothing about asymptomatic cases either. All we know is that it reduces the severe cases by 95%.
“...They only tested the severe cases for Covid. The reduction in that category was 95%. They did not test any of the milder cases....”

That’s not correct. You are misunderstanding the trial report documentation. Look at the bottom of page 30 of the package ( https://www.fda.gov/media/144245/download ) you’ve been referencing. You’ll see there were only 4 SEVERE Covid-19 cases (3 placebo and 1 vaccine recipient) in the Pfizer vaccine trial. They confirmed Covid-19 for these 4 cases by testing, yes. But they also tested the mild SYMPTOMATIC VIRUS cases to determine if they tested positive for COVID-19.
Fauci probably didn’t get his cut of the profits.
Why is this disease so random in severity? I know many people who have had it...some in their 80's who have sailed right through.
Some in their 40's ended up in the hospital or with multiple ER visits...including some very physically fit peeps who work out & eat right.
Several (with underlying conditions including cancer) have died.
I assume I had it back in late Dec and January for 3-1/2 bizarre weeks. Severe conjunctivis, loss of smell (still not back..maybe 50%), loss of taste for a few days, fever, horrible chills with a low temperature, indescribable fatigue, ice pick headache. I had a moderate cough & never felt that I couldn't breathe "in and out"...but felt that I wasn't getting enough oxygen. Also, brain fog & mild aphasia that took several months to resolve.
Went to the Doctor & Optometrist for the first symptom (conjunctivitis), but didn't go back because I would get seemingly "better" for a day or two...then it would come back. This happened about 4 times, each time with new and more exciting symptoms.
Made no sense until much later.
FWIW, several guys who do work for me have had it recently. Most had relatively mild symptoms; all had loss of taste & smell. ALL also have brain fog & mild loss of language for a couple of weeks. These are guys in their 20's & 30's. Every one of them has said "I'm having trouble thinking of the right words to use." What kind of neurological damage is this doing?
Wait, . . . . WHAT!
Thanks. Which I believe means they don’t know that it actually prevents it in anyone.
