Remember, he's the guy who defended Richard Jewell when our government wanted to make him the patsy for the Atlanta Olympic bombing. So I doubt Lin is a "deep state plant". I'm sure that the FBI could not be happy that Lin vindicated him (giving the FBI a black eye in the process).
I also don't think it's 4-D chess or anything like that. I could simply be that he came unhinged. Maybe the Deep State put a "bad ice cube" in his drink which affected his brain.
Whatever the case, he had a very successful career up to now and was held in high regard up to now. Most recently, he represented Nick Sandmann in his suits against the MSM - and won.

Great response! That could be option 3.....offering the opposition an easy target.....however I have a hard time buying into the “bop Bozo the Clown in the nose” option.

In answer to your basic question, I’d tend to say yes, most probably.
Woods initially came out as appearing to be a part of the Trump defense team, seemingly teamed up with Powell. His initial efforts gave him much respect as they made good sense. He also has pre-Trump respect with others, such as Richard Jewell.
The public took note of all of this and considers him a basic part of the Trump team, even though Trump distanced himself earlier. Regardless, this public perception is believed to be fact by many.
So now you have a near household name of Lin Wood being associated with the President. And as of late when Jan 6th is so near, this Lin Wood fellow goes off the rails as a complete nut job.
I think the goal is that of by association, the public is now supposed to think Trump is equal the nut job as his defender, Lin Wood.
Another way of putting it, if this talk of Epstein still being alive and Pence being such a bad guy is totally false, then the rest of Trump’s voter fraud evidence must also be in question. Here I’m talking public perception.

As RummyChick mentioned, read the complaint of the lawsuit filed by his former law partners. There are threads about it here on FR. Wood began to behave very erratically near the end of 2019. I believe he needs medical help.

Crazy like a fox. putting Pence on BLAST like that publicly, helps to improve the optic when the VP refuses to accept the votes from the disputed states. Pence will have done so sedately, with sober deliberation and formal decorum, a glaring contrast which will afford positive public perception . IMHO.

Millions? What are u talking about? He made MilionSSS off CNN ALONE from the Nick Sandmann case. Sandmann is $200 million richer because of Lin and obviously, Lin took the case with his lawyer’s “fees”. (He didnt take it for free if he knew he wouldnt win).
. He is “still” on target for US ToDAY and Rolling Stone but dagnabit, this election fraud case mis-directed his efforts for now, and Im sure he’ll pick it up regardless of who’s president.
Just my opinion.......Lin Wood isn’t part of any side.
He’s operating on his own for his own reasons.
Reasons could be numerous or anything really.
He’s never been a Republican.......he could be venting and spilling hate.
He could be leading a charge not endorsed but certainly embraced by the Left of misinformation, confusion, division.
(Still he’s not banned from Twitter. Why?)
He could be angry he never was invited to the White House or had the Trump admin. Welcome him in any way. Now they’re distancing from Wood.
He could be trying to influence the Georgia election in favor of the democrats by telling Republicans not to vote......an idiotic form of protest.
Or Lin Wood could be just doing Lin Wood. He might have issues that perhaps an eval and medications could benefit him greatly.
But none of the things Lin Wood is doing is helping our cause. Nothing so far has he done in the courts for our case.
Perhaps it’s not what Lin Wood is doing........perhaps it’s what he hasn’t done.
