Shame Collins didn't win the primary because she is awful.
I'm not expecting her to win due to the Abrams fraud machine and the fact that she doesn't inspire voters much.
Hope I'm wrong!

If she loses it’s only for 2 years-think about it.
To: RandFan
Nah...she's exactly the type the Deep State loves to manipulate. What benefit is there to them in Senators who can think on their feet and win re-election on their own merits? Put in place mediocrities who owe you - that's the path to power.

It was not a primary, it was a special election with 21 candidates, and 7 or 8 other Republicans Had they had a primary, it would have been better for us.

If she loses it’s only for 2 years-think about it. Whatever benefits Trump is what I’m after. There are some GOPers who feel a stake in the Senate race but could care less about the presidency. So if a Republican win in Georgia actually *hurts* Trump on the 6th of January then I’d rather the Dems win.

I can’t think of a less compelling candidate. An entitled billionaire’s wife. Good job GOP. It doesn’t look like a political kickback at all.

Nevertheless she is still preferable to the two communists the Democrats hope to elect.

Two years is long enough to get about what, conservatively ten million illegal immigrants registered to vote.
That's what I think about it.

These 2 clowns are damaged goods. They’re like McCain. They wear the GOPe brand perfectly.

Her very existence in the senate is about as swamp
As you can get. Oh you gave my campaign a lot of money, okay I’ll appoint your wife to the Senate.
Why would anyone think she would be a slam dunk in any election?!?
A good bit of conservatives see her appointments as crooked, let alone independents.

In what way does Trump benefit from the Dems having majorities in both houses of congress for two years?
With Nancy and Chuckie calling all the shots?

If Collins had been selected, we'd be referring to his opponent as Senator-elect Warnock, rather than dealing with a runoff. Collins could probably sleep through any number of terms in his old highly-Republican House district. Statewide office is a horse of a different color. Statewide GA elections have been trending Democrat for decades. For the Dems,
at the presidential level, purple state status is now within reach.

Yes but I hope these two win anyway. Schumer as majority leader sounds horrible. Sure we don’t get much with Mitch, but there are 300 bills Mitch refused to have a vote on from the House. Schumer will have no issue getting them voted and passed.

How does the Deep State manipulate Loeffler? She’s got F-You money, she isn’t beholden to anybody. She’s been solidly conservative on just about every issue. She took on Mitt Romney in the impeachment hearings in the Senate and attacked him publicly for not supporting Trump (and Trump has referred to her as one of his biggest defenders). My wife and I, both conservative GA Republicans, are glad to have her representing us.
