Yesterday I felt despair at the way the nation is sliding into despotism. Today I feel only anger. Other reasonable people, even those that didn’t support Trump, will see this purge of the right and be very, very troubled by it. IT may wake them up, perhaps too late.

Being replaced by Christopher Plummer is the giveaway - Plummer replaced Kevin Spacey in a movie after the latter’s #MeToo downfall.
This is apparently joke based on how they replaced Kevin Spacey with Christopher Plummer in “All the Money in the World” about J. Paul Getty. It was brilliantly and seamlessly done, and I can’t imagine that Spacey was better in the part than Plummer.
Funny enough I was watching the commentary on the DVD for Naked Gun 3, there is no mention whatsoever of OJ Simpson’s role in the movie. When theres any indication they start talking about him, their conversation is temporally muted.
Still have my vhs tape of Home Alone 2.
BTW, tried to buy a scented candle on trumpstore.com and now that’s blocked with a “this is not a trusted website”. That’s not even one of the political websites, it’s selling home goods and decor from the hotels!

I must be channeling your thought. Two minutes ago I was telling my wife about his being erased from a movie. And she said, well, if you already have a copy of the movie, you can watch it and I said just what you posted—before getting to your post.
We should re-title ‘Home Alone 2” to match the spirit of the occaision, namely the supression of the truth for childish and irrelevant reasons. We could call it “The Americanization of Stalin”. Sure to be only the first such absurd example of totalitarian censorship to be inflicted on America by idiots.
