Trump downplayed the virus. He even said so-he did not want people to panic. Americans are adults. People do not like to be not told the truth by politicians. This is what killed his reelection.
If Trump had told the truth he would have been reelected even if he mishandled the virus.

That was my initial reaction as well after watching the drastic steps that China took. Or that they said that they took.
Almost a year later, with the USA not bull-dozing interstates, blockades at each city, welding of apartment doors shut, fogging anti-septics of entire blocks based on the images coming out of China ... we still have not seen people dropping dead in their tracks as depicted in China.
Covid-19 IS real, it is bad for many people. But it isn’t as bad as China (or the Democrats) say that it is.
Plus, Nancy holding stimulus up, plus media mocking HCQ, ultraviolet light, and other potential and promising treatments.
The only reason he's sitting in the Oval Office now is because he cheated to get there. He literally stole the election through fraud.
The bank robber has an "impact" on the bank's deposits, as well. It doesn't make his "withdrawals" legal though.
In retrospect, the only “failure” I can see of Trump’s handling of ControllaVirus is that he should have fired Fauxi the first time he spewed propaganda instead of facts.
I told my wife in January 2020 when China was heating up, if Trump did get the US quarantined, it would be his Katrina. Yes he was being hounded by impeachment and all the other garbage being thrown at him, but COVID-19 was his downfall. Women voters hated his message regarding not needing masks an Fauci should have been fired.
Since no President could have “handled” the virus in a way acceptable to Fauci and his flip-flopping team, this is a null criticism. Face it - a nation full of overweight, vitamin-deficient citizens was ripe to fall victim to some kind of pandemic. There isn’t much any President can do except sign Executive Orders banning fast food and television.
So——the DOMINION MACHINES were angry over the virus???

If it is the media reports and analysis of Biden's campaign had an impact, I'll agree.
But they didn't have enough of an impact for him to win.
Otherwise, he wouldn't have had to steal the election by cheating, now would he?

It’s naive to think that without covid the Dems wouldn’t have fabricated some other wedge issue. It’s what they do, and he got the most legitimate votes anyway.
