The best fish sandwich I have ever had was about 60 years ago in Columbus, Indiana. Nothing since has come close.

Virtually all fast food fish sandwiches suck.
Long John Silver was acceptable, so the bar is not very high here.

I have had awesome fish sandwiches in taverns in the midwest.

If they fry everything in the same fryer, pretty soon the chicken will taste like fish.

Many times, in the absence of a place to get a fish sandwich I would resort to Mcdodo.
Always a mistake, you forget how lame their sandwich is.
How it stays on the menu is beyond me.
Oh wait, they still sell crappy burgers too!

Your combo sounds good, though as an option—otherwise they’d probably be limiting their market too much. Pickles of course are a classic ingredient in tartar sauce.
