It’s been a rag for years now. Of course they are hurting financially. I stopped even clicking on anything from them back in 2016 when they started putting a disclaimer under the headline of any article relating to Trump, saying something like “Trump is a racist, sexist, xenophobe, Nazi etc”.
Come to think of it, they sort of set the precedent for all the FB/TWTR type “flags” in use over the last 18 months. Screw ‘em all.

Sharyl Attkisson’s new book “Slanted” talks about this. Essentially, all reporters these days are “narrative reporters”. They set an agenda, provide a narrative to support it, and listen to an echo chamber to prop it up.
It’s what’s wrong with the news media today.
Was her job to insert “unproven” “baseless” “without evidence” or “unfounded” into every story about election fraud?
