Just claim affluenza and walk away...

This father should be facing accessory to murder charges.

"unusual for females in the late 70s to have trucks"

Chick in high school cir 1976 drove a Dodge 3500 tow truck minus the boom & wench.

Truck bed was 1/4 inch steel as well the front bumper.

Anyone giving her crap while cruising or anywhere else got their vehicle knocked off the road.

She kept cans of black spray paint to clean up the marks left on the steel bed.

How do you know he’s Muslim?

Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism, and Sikhism are the relations of India.

A kid that lived near me about 25 years ago was given a new Firebird Trans Am for his 16th birthday. A week later he was topping a small hill at 110 mph on a narrow country road, lost control, and slammed sideways into a utility pole. He didn’t make it.

My sons’ first cars were a 1988 Olds Delta 88, a 1989 Honda Civic, and a 1992 Buick Century.

Hahaha.. True! Plus, there was plenty of room for friends to pile-in for concert going and ski trips.

When I was 16 I had a sports car that would run the quarter in 10 seconds and top out over 160 mph and when appropriate I had that verified on the circle track to be officially 160mph + Racing is for the track age is not a factor.

A friend of my sister, went out on a date with a guy whose father had bought him one of the first Corvettes.

Sister’s friend, the guy, and the Corvette ended up in the top of a tree, about 20 feet off the ground, after failing to comply with a troublesome bend in the road.

The girl died. The guy survived. The father had a “crew” collect the entirety of the car pieces and disappear them.

Back then, without the car - evidence - only minimal charges were brought against the guy.

Ten years later, another guy in a newer Corvette, further down the road, failed to complete the other complex bend in the road.

He plus his Corvette, disintegrated against a battery of tough oak trees, it his (and the Corvette’s) way toward the farmhouse of neighbors.

This time, no cover-up.

I agree with you. My husband still rides a motorcycle and he started out on a dirt bike and also did motocross. My son learned on a dirt bike, too. I think it’s why they are both good riders. My husband has even taken some safety courses for motorcycles after years of riding. More parents should be the way yours were.
