Too many porch pirates in your area?
1st time in America?
:-)
"Calfalon!"
"No good! Follow me!"
But I was young and dumb, and went to far...
My Walmart is in a small red city, in a red county, in New York State but they always have empty shelves. Had them even before the virus hoax appeared. So to get what I can’t locate at my local Walmart, I either pay more at my local grocery store, or drive a half-hour to the other Walmart, in a not-so-normal area.
Sometimes computer programs (sorry, their ‘programmers’, since we all know that computers never do wrong) get things mixed-up, and send the wrong message for the wrong issue.
(And this ought to scare all of us, as we relinquish more and more of our lives to so-called ‘AI’.)
Call somebody at the store - on a telephone.
No, our porch is away from any public road, and our mail goes to a P.O. box where we get frequent packages from this place and many others. It was weird, I’ve never seen it before. I guess I kind of assumed it was something to do with covid. But the same product didn’t have the restriction a week or so later and nothing had really changed in the covid department.

Some of the best cookware/knives I have ever had were Tramontina, that I got at Kmart and ACE Hardware for dirt cheap.
You cant argue with price and quality
Have you had purchases delivered to your residence from other stores?

“Target - Donated to the Marxist hate group Black Lives Matter. Donated $10 million “in an effort to advance social justice”. Permited transgender people to use the bathroom of their choosing. Has since installed single occupancy bathrooms after MAGA boycott cost them 20 million dollars. People at Target donated $195,259 more to Biden than to Trump. Instead consider CVS, Uline, Walgreens,”
This may have been answered by others, but some manufacturers have exclusive distribution deals in various territories. It’s kind of an old-school manufacturer-distributor arrangement but it is done to give distributors territorial rights in exchange for meeting performance goals. To protect their rights the distributors don’t infringe on others’ territories. So it’s possible Target only has rights to sell that product in certain locales.
You might recall the brouhaha over the 3M N95 masks, similar type of problems in the supply chain. Manufacturers have contracts with distributors and retailers.
So it’s not totally crazy to me but in the online world you’d think it sort of antiquated. And, the goods can often be found in the grey markets but reputable businesses will honor their commitments.
UPS and Fed ex come to our street address for delivery, USPS delivers to a P.O. box for us. This was a lousy no frills cheap am/fm radio I was forced to buy on the internet because I couldn’t find one in any of the local places and box stores. When I’ve ordered something from a box store I have it delivered for pickup at the local store, not even sure how they deliver to residences.

They're all woke these days. It's just easier if you are a corporation to bend the knee to social justice. Google Havel's greengrocer.
Guarantee these companies all have the same restroom policies as Target.
You don’t need a fancy pan to cook well.
Address database receives careless attention.
Tinker tailor, soldier pot..
One of my greatest buys was 1950s bean pot I bought 30 some years ago for $2
I recently gave that as a cherished gift to a friend.
Hold on there FRiend!
First off, Target believes in the ‘science’ of a biological man miraculously becoming a woman.
Why shop there?
There are much better alternatives. Most crony capitalist corporations hate you anyways. I like Wayfair or Overstock. Even Costco would be preferable.
We’ve got a Mauviel mixing bowl and a paella pan. After moving to a new house that has an induction cooktop, it became worthless as a stovetop pan. My wife now essentially uses it as a kitchen decoration...a very expensive decoration.
We ended up buying a bunch of stuff from Tramontina, a Brazilian brand that has an on-line store. Reasonably priced and surprisingly excellent quality. They’re the best pts/pans I’ve used that didn’t have All-Clad on them.
