I think it's clear to acknowledge we are at an impasse. I suspect we are in agreement with the Biblical assessment (at least we got that going for us). The chief difference is on Constituional matters and the state of play at the Founding (though, again, we aren't too too far away), and the relative danger to society today of homosexuality vs divorce.
On the latter part, I doubt you think divorce is great. In my case, I've seen quite a lot of wildlife working in Manhattan and I would agree some of it isn't exactly what I'd want to bring home. It is on the relativity bit where we disagree.
I'd rather move on, acknowledge our differences but close by paraphrasing Evelyn Beatrice Hall in saying that I disagree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.

In the past in response to people who have said that Scripture approves of slavery I have time and again pointed out that you do not regulate something that is innocent or laudable but you do regulate things that are prone to abuses of all sorts. In that context I’ve brought up Moses permitting people to divorce (because of the hardness of their hearts) for comparison because it would not be unreasonable that slavery continued after the Exodus for a similar reason, because of the people’s hardness of their hearts, they even had to be made to ultimately free their fellow Israelites in bondage to them.
You may note that those questioning Christ and these latter day critics share this in common in that they are asserting these two as if they were commended ... those Jews were seeking to accuse Christ in something He said and these others seek to malign Scripture and thereby the Lord.
I point out both are being restricted, something that shows they were at least seen as problematic.
And then Scripture says the Lord hates divorce. Which makes pretty clear why it being permitted at all is a hard heart thing.
A few times, when feeling frisky and wanting to challenge those folks about the moral soundness of the culture that they presume to be soooo good (or when just tweak noses), I went on to say that because, though it might seem reasonable that it could be the case, the Lord does not expressly say through Scripture that He hates slavery we should on that technicality consider divorce to be worse than slavery.
Slavery: considered my many to be the worst possible thing.
So, yeah, serious nose tweaking.
Based on Lil Nas’ trashy, porny release this week openly paying homage to Satan, I totally renounce any passing interest I had in his colorful Old Town video. He’s a sick dude.
The only true racism out there today is from those obsessed about it and/or those trying to destroy the USA.
