Interesting quote from the film: "The vaccine is the virus."
To be clear, my doctor is still recommending taking the vaccine. He just believes additional boosters will be recommended sooner rather than later to better protect us from the variants. I’m not that excited about the possibility of having to take a bunch of vaccines. I am taking a “wait and see” approach with the vaccine for now since I am not in a high risk group and believe the vaccines are somewhat experimental and may carry some unknown risk. They are not approved by the FDA yet. I am not afraid and have been traveling and moving about for months. The odds of my dying of covid are probably less than the odds of my dying in a car crash....

New York Magazine doesn’t seem to agree with you. There is no evidence that the New York variant is resistant to the two main vaccines. It does seem to be taking over the majority of cases in NYC, however, and NYC has gone from pale gray to medium gray on the New York Times page 4 map today.
