I was this close... to purchasing a cell jammer. Very annoying and more so on a nice quiet morning, read and relax.

Diamond vs Karen. The picture in the article shows that this happened in the middle of the day, not 2:00 am. People are mildly annoying some times. So are people who call the police when they’re being mildly annoyed.
My neighbors behind us are African immigrants. I hear them speaking to each other when they are inside their house, and I’m in mine.
Why are they always shouting?? It’s ridiculous.
Some people have no volume control.
They seem to be blaming the new neighbor.
I hadn’t lived in my present house for a month when a male/female pair of local denizens had a screaming argument out front. At 1 in the morning. I tried to ignore it, but they weren’t going anywhere...so I got out of bed, flung open the front door, and shouted “HEY!!!” (in my fiercest outside voice).
When they looked at me, I continued to yell “I have a GREAT idea! Why don’t you two go scream and yell at each other in front of YOUR house instead of mine??”
They said “sorry” and moved on. No need to call cops.
Since they were both white, they couldn’t make a big fat hairy racial deal out of it, or merit national news coverage. I’m usually okay with the NY Post, but they are really stirring the pot here.
Maybe the lady just got tired of listening to some screeching black lady all the time.... Understandable.

I read the story; she was fined for being a public nuisance. The article does not state whether she was using foul language while on the phone. It is one of my pet peeves when I am in public, and people start flinging the “F” word around, especially. And if I’m in a business, and I hear an employee use such language, it really burns my bread, and I am likely to complain to the management. Language has deteriorated to the point of disgust. However, that was not mentioned in the article; only the loudness. If it was just loudness, I think it was petty for the neighbor to call police. But if there was foul language involved, I don’t blame her. But calling it racist is ridiculous
For those who aren’t from Michigan, Eastpointe is the newer “classy” name for East Detroit. Even the residents in East Detroit were embarrassed to be associated with the motor city after what 65 years of liberal rule had done to it.
All I’ll say is… Don’t drive through Eastpointe with your doors unlocked.

Years ago when my car was in the shop, there was this one woman across the street on her cell phone very loudly. she was 100 feet away and I could clearly here every incoherent word including liberal use of the effenheimer and other verbal gems. If this was decades ago, she would have been considered a mental patient. No, this was a ghettopotamus. In lovely suburban woke Eagan Minnesota.
Honestly, you never know.

As a Person of Pallor I have been ill treated by Persons of Color several times - harassed, bullied, ripped off, and assaulted.
Was it because I’m white? It was mentioned some of the times. I don’t care. Their behavior was wrong regardless of their motivations. And behavior should be punished, not inferred motive.
I had a cell jammer in Hong Kong. It was lots of fun.
I was in a restaurant and some idiot lady was on her speaker phone with some other woman gossiping about someone’s cancer diagnosis.
It was sickening.
