None of these environmentalist wackos ever mention the Medieval Warming Period, circa 1400’s, when the Earth was six degrees warmer than today and the Arctic Ice cap melted.

Without the intervention of humans, and without a single oil well or internal combustion engine in the world, the Arctic eventually became colder once again and the ice cap returned.

“So it’s past the tipping point? That is great. There’s nothing we can do, but sit back and enjoy the ride. Let your worries be gone! “
Exactly. Notice that all the supposed effects of global warming occur where no one could possibly live, like the Arctic Ocean. 120 years ago people thought there was another continent up there. It’s 40 below zero most of the time, why is it a problem if it gets warmer? Another “tipping point” is the Great Barrier Reef, which conveniently can only be seen by scuba divers. All the bad things are supposedly happening where no one can observe it. Anything you can actually see or visit, however - is perfectly fine and beautiful and hasn’t changed at all because of the invisible odorless gas at 100 parts per million higher without which most of us would freeze to death in winter.

Yeah, I got a feeling neither one of those things is going to happen.

Trying to'splain stuff to scientists reminds me of that old Far Side cartoon where the first panel reads, "What we say to dogs" and it shows a guy saying to his dog, Fetch the stick, Rex. Go get it, Rex. Go get the stick, Rex." and then the next panel reads, "What they hear" "blah blah blah, Rex. Blah blah blah, Rex."

So I guess FL is already under water then? They said that would happen if too much ice melted and now they’re saying too much ice has melted.

As well as those “50 million climate refugees by 2010” that the UN was predicting for ages, and then scrubbed their website when that false prediction didn’t happen.

Anytime I hear an “expert” use the words may, maybe, might, could, should, possibly, or some, I interpret that as “give me money” to make the problem go away.

You know what they mean…they are going to FORCE YOU to cough up a lot of your income, force you to give up meat, force you to drive an EV, force you to give up AC in summer and heat in the winter, force you to live in a tiny apartment by the train tracks, force you to accept unreliable, very expensive electricity. It is all well underway.

If natural weather patterns are changing and the Arctic ice does melt can you imagine the fishery that would result? The catch from the polar ocean might relieve fishing pressure on other oceans.

A nutrient rich ocean that gets 24 hours of light part of the year. Fire up the deep fryer because there will be plenty of dish to fry.
