Do to the polar vortex
Due to the polar vortex
I remember “tipping points” from fifty years ago. Thirty years ago. Twenty years ago. TEN years ago.
Still waiting.
***“The disappearance of summer sea ice in the Arctic is one of the first landmines in this minefield,***
Is the North West Passage(Arctic route shipping lanes) now open?
RUN FOR THE HILLS!!!
SAVE THE ICE!!!
“...if we can still save the year-round Arctic sea ice through forceful climate protection...”
Problem solved in 1980!
POPULAR SCIENCE, Feb 1980..
PS/What’s News ....
page 73
Changing the weather intentionally or otherwise weather modification..(Earth cooling vs Greenhouse effect)
“Do you suppose we can learn enough, soon enough, to pull off a balancing act with the CO2 blanket saving us from another ice age?”
But in other news, the Antarctic is growing so large, the planet is rolling down low!
Sounds like a dance. “Do the ‘Polar Vortex’ with me” . . .
OMG! the sky is falling, the sky is falling!
They have been saying this same sh*t for the pas 40 years. It’s irreversible. Even though there has been several ice ages with warming periods in between. How did those waring periods happen when there were no SUVs around nor any coal fired utilities. blatant stupid crap made for our gullible college students.
For years explorers searched for a northwest passage. About time we found it!
>>None of these environmentalist wackos ever mention the Medieval Warming Period, circa 1400’s, when the Earth was six degrees warmer than today and the Arctic Ice cap melted.<<
I’m wondering about Greenland and the Vikings. If it was warmer, and the glaciers were melting, Greenland would turn pretty damn green from all the meltwater runoff during that period.
The melting of sea ice happens every year for very many years, and it won’t make the sea levels rise.
I am so sorry! 😘
I thought LSD use really tapered with the demise of the Grateful Dead, I guess there is nothing better to do when you are a “climate scientist”
and even with the “disappearance of summer sea ice” they have yet to open a northern passage?
I’m still waiting for summer to come to Southern Connecticut.
If it is to late then not to worry.
I did not see any green grass and trees when the Top Gear guys went to the north pole.

I’ve always said, I doubt they called it Greenland because it was covered in snow and ice.
