Need to know more.
The covax hits people with diabetes harder.

Digital Underground wannabee. :-)

Kinda. There was stuff like Public Enemy and NWA but also light hearted goofy pop-rap by guys like Young MC, Run DMC, Sir Mixalot, and of course Biz Markie.
On another note, I’ve often jokingly sung this song even more off key than Biz Markie for my daughter to get a laugh. RIP

He’s not a rapper. Rappers don’t die from diabetes.

Digital Underground wannabee. :-) Celerity, you must have been thinking of Humpty Hump, who passed away earlier this year.

Thanks. I missed that one. Devastating news. I can still remember that video from my misspent youth.

I was just thinking about this song yesterday. I mentioned it out loud to see if my tablets would have it show up in my recommended on youtube.
Guess I need to think of something else now to test.
I always liked the song.

Shock G, Off-Kilter Digital Underground Leader, Dead at 57 (4/22)
When Digital Underground died on April 22nd, dfwgator said he hoped Biz Markie was okay, and Bookman said he was in a bad way. He made it almost three months. They were both 57, and I think they has their big hit within a year of each other. Aaron0617 said several early 90s rappers died recently.
