Exactly what purpose does it serve to try to have a nation called the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan? They are a tribal people living in the 7th century and want nothing to do with a nation. The idea of nation building was absurd. It has been proven ineffective multiple times in Afghanistan alone in the past 20 years, jeez 50 years.
