Sour grapes from a sour old broad.
Them BMW Bolsheviks sure know how to par-tay. I wonder if Barry got his fill of bud and coke?
oof - bad grammar, Caroline.
Marie Antoinette was alive during the renaissance? News to me the renaissance lasted into the late 18th century!
The original article made no such claim.
She was executed in 1793. Bookend to the Renaissance perhaps.
Maureen Dowdy.
The Renaissance was the 15th and 16th century, not even close to the late 18th century, which was the age of Enlightenment. I cringe when I see how ignorant some writers are! And they tell us what to do!!!!
Yup. Whenever he opens his mouth - for me, it is obvious as day, I hear the Con, the Bull, the jive-turkey sling - coming out of his mouth. He wants to be the cool cat that everyone goes ‘ooooh - isn’t he mesmerizing’. What a pathetic joke.
Good summation: an orgy of the 1 percent — private jets, Martha’s Vineyard, limousine liberals and Hollywood whoring.’
True, next one up is Pete Buttigieg!
But you can be certain "Teddy" still voted in the last election.
And will be voting in many more elections to come.
Her complaint was that more weren’t allowed to come spread Covid.
MoDo didn’t actually think she was going to be on the guest list, did she? 🤔
Not sure why he would matter much.
Thank you, you are right. I was commenting on this article, I do not normally read the NYT. Here is the clip from the NYT:
“It was a bombshell when Caroline Kennedy endorsed Obama in 2008 along with her uncle Teddy, a turning point in the primary against Hillary. After being disinvited from the party, Kennedy had the speaker at her home on the island for dinner. “I would have disinvited me if I was him,” she joked.” https://www.nytimes.com/2021/08/14/opinion/barack-obama-birthday.html
That was exactly what I was going to post!
Well I supposed even the Noblesse Oblige like Maureen Dowd can be critical of this Administration, but can’t bring themselves to recognize that revolutions are the result of tyranny. Better to just compare Marie Antoinette as “renaissance” than to depict her end the result of the people pushed to their brink.
Though in a way, she’s also calling Obama a Queen.
Good catch
