The movie 55 DAYS AT PEKING keeps coming back into my mind. We don’t have a Charlton Heston or David Niven to organize the defense of the Kabul Airport.
No, they promised no ‘spring’ offensive.
It was ‘summer’ and there was no ‘offensive’. They just walked in.
Now for this agreement - the promise is to allow them safe travel TO the airport.
Did they promise to let them safely depart on an airplane... NOPE.
Just a ‘safe trip to the airport’.
So that could be just a nice safe collection method. Saves them from having to track many of their intended victims down all over the country.
It would be far better and safer to accept ‘safe passage to Friendship Bridge’ - or the land exit of their choice !

What industries did Kabul and Afghanistan have to attract these people and pay them to live in
Kabul?
Did our tax $’s pay for these Americans to be there with their families?
If so, what benefit did we receive for our investments?
It’s like a Nazi promise of safe escort to the border.
I hope they are all thoroughly vetted.
It will be a massive and intense vetting if done properly!
Or to identify future targets or allies in AmeriKa!
