At least he isn’t facing murder charges because the first three bullets killed the perp. But returning to shoot him wasn’t necessary because he had moved to a safe area and was no longer in mortal danger. Hell, the worst he should face is abuse of a corpse.
I think unlawful discharge or desecration of a,corpse are more on pont, but whatever. The point remains. You can’t return and shoot the bad guy 10 more times. One year probation before judgement should suffice to deter that kind of behavior.
