Parmesan cheese and shrimp. Shrimp Alfredo sounds pretty good, and healthy, about now.
I’ve been taking L-Arginine / L-Citrulline daily or twice/day all through this and no problems to report.
Have been taking 1,000 mg of L-Lysine daily for years - it inhibits the replication of viruses.
Along with D3 and C, the only things I take (so I’m not a 24-pill-a-day supplement-aholic).

is there a 12 step program for supplementaholics?
That’s good. I think it exacerbates existing conditions in some. Hopefully you just get the pros and zero cons...

I AM! Including prescription meds its OVER 24! Adding this one as soon as it ships to me.
thank you for that reply- lots of info- i had read abotu BHT in thep ast, but decided agaisnt it for soem reason i can’t remember now- maybe possible issues if soemoen has kidney problems- orl iver- can’t remembr now- I’ll have to research it more now-
I wonder- Chronic fatigue- which docs think i have, is thought to be caused by viruses (one theory of the cause anyways) Likely a herpes virus of which there are several- or Epstein bar virus, or who knows what kind- I can’t take valacyclovir long term because of kidney problem- but was wondering if other ‘natural’ antivirals might be able to accomplish stifling the virus enough to calm the Chronic Fatigue IF it is caused by a virus?
[[is there a 12 step program for supplementaholics?]]
Yes but unfortunately it involves supplementing street drugs for natural supplements-
Quite possible that chronic fatigue syndrome may be caused by a virus, it also may have other underlying causes as well. It also can be caused by something your body does not like similar to an allergic reaction or something your body does not get and this would involve some trial and error to find out.
In my younger years I had what you may call chronic fatigue syndrome which at times was bad enough that I felt like some one beat me up. Aside from that my sleep at best would last me a couple of hours before I would fall asleep again. I know in order to get better I had to regain my sleep and at that time I was not as well up on all the nutrients or vitamins which might help. There was no internet or computers to find any information. But I knew one potent anti inflammatory medication which was Aspirin, I also had enough sense to indulge in plenty of fruits and vegetables as well as other things easy on my stomach.
Along with it I included a daily one hour vigorous walk which I kept up all these years along wit other exercise and ever so slowly I was able to shake off what appeared to be afflicting me. In later years after becoming more knowledgably about nutrients as well as vitamins I included many which I found to be beneficial. In your case I certainly would try some LYSINE any where up to 3000 mg and see how your body responds. Let me know how you make out!
Thanks St- Been tryign to find an answer for 35 years now- spent tons of money on stuff- tried many different diets, exercise regimes etc- Ate, drank, even smoked stuff that would curl the toenails of a goat- vitamins, minerals, herbs, even elemental diet that is nothing but drinks of vitamins and minerals and oils etc—
I never got any better- it’s like wakin up with your batteries charged only about 1/ charge- and run out of steam in a few hours- back to bed for a couple hours to recharge to make it through rest of the day- and the lousy burning pain in muscles- like lactic acid burn when exercising too hard- but it happens even just typing- gotta keep taking breaks-
It’s horrid- I have been taking olive leaf and oil of oregano- both supposed to be fairly potent antivirals- but no luck yet- been about 2 weeks on it=- gonna give lysine a try too- but wait for a good 2 months till i see if the two I’m taking now do anything at all- -

Seriously, though, I would imagine that there would be some kind of treatment plan for those who go overboard with suppliments- it can become an 0bsession with some personalities. Many folks think because they are ‘all natural products’ that they are safe, but that isn’t the truth, and overdoing it with supplements can cause real harm, even death in some cases. More isn’t always better. But some folks really become obsessed with them.

I used to be too, in a desperate bid to regain my health- The $$ i spent=- wow-
Apparently you have a computer and access to the internet. I would suggest to read up all you can find on Lactic Acidosis and what you should know. The indication of yours about the lactic acid burn even at minimal exertion provide a clue to what may be an underlying problem and if I be you I would follow up on it. I think with some tests you might get to the bottom of it. Well, just a thought and needless to say wishing you the best of luck.
I’ve been tested for it- there is a condition called lactic acidosis i think is the name, but it woudl show up on tests- the burning feeling feels like that, but likely isn’t- I think it is that the muscles aren’t getting the fuel they need because of some kind of mitochondrial dysfunction- and the pain it causes feels like a burning pain-
I’ve come to suspect Chronic fatigue, which one of the symptoms is burning muscles, and exercise intolerance- (muscles burn and hurt with minimal exertion)- the only thing is i don’t have any of the ‘trigger points’ that supposedly go along with Chronic Fatigue- Nor do i have the “Tender Points’ that go along with Fibromylagia - so not 100% certain what is goign on-
oh, and thanks for the well wishes- it’s been a long hard road to travel- I was kinda hoping i na way it was from the herpes virus, as there are things that can be taken for it to calm it down, and hopefully calm down the Chronic Fatigue too- IF that is what i have and what is causing it
