Bolton has always been a member of the club.

It's pretty clear to me that Milley was only part of a network of conspirators who took it upon themselves to set Trump aside. Milley does not seem to have the guts for taking on this sort of thing solo.

The GOP Congress didn’t know about the FBI lying on FISA warrants. The GOP Congress didn’t know about the CIA leaking phone call transcripts from General Flynn.
But the NSC certainly did.
Wrong. Trey Gowdy has said they knew the FBI was lying to Congress in 2017 about FISA. He said on FNC that he personally reviewed the docs. And what did the GOP do? Nothing. Well, actually not nothing. They renewed FISA!

Its unquestioned? Think he meant “unquestionable” but accidently said something true: his patriotism is far too unquestioned.
To: Manic_Episode
I think he was on his own team.
Whatever worked best for him, there he was.

“In the days after Donald Trump’s November 3, 2020, election defeat, I can only imagine the pressures he and others were under in fulfilling their Constitutional obligations,”
When Bolton makes a statement like that, it reveals him to be a trashy, lying, conniving POS. Who pulled his chain anyway?

He was never a man “of the Right.” He was always a draft-dodging, warmongering globalist. Too many people here on FR just decided to overlook that because he calls himself a Republican.

As a newbie butterbar I was schooled on civilian control over the military in the US. Maybe all that lettuce on his uniform makes Milley think he's above the Constitution.
Last I heard, judges were not allowing patriotism as a defense for the Cap protestors.
