Feigned over the top hysterical outrage at Trump’s statement on 1. GO OUTRAGE TEAM 1! GO OUTRAGE TEAM 2!...

He made plenty of mistakes, but anyway, may he rest in peace.

Why add that second half of the sentence?

At my work (large company) we are lowering flags to half staff for him

Probably because the federal government and the majority of the states are doing it.

“ Trump nails it....as usual!
Sure. Spit on the dead. And drive off another 50k voters.

Genius.”

Spit on the dead? Nope

Colin Powell was proud to be republican in name only.

He could have declared to be a democrat as he promoted every anti American leftist democrat running for office from the position of republican. He could have endorsed Trump instead of hating him and thereby helping this country hang on to the only good leader we’ve had since the beginning of this mess, 1973

But he didn’t. He was not ashamed. Nothing wrong with noting he was republican in name only as the media lionized him as a Republican who hated conservatives.

When are others going to step up and stop being disgusting wimps?

"He still has hope, or pretends he does, that he can somehow turn the GOP into something it will never be."

If you can't turn the GOP, how will you avoid the same thing happening to any new party you set up? As long as a new party divides and weakens the GOP, the rats will support it. But as soon as a new party starts to gain any real power, the rats will infiltrate it. And then you're back to having a party that only gives lip service again.

The solution is to identify and kick out the Rino's. And keep at it until the job is done. And then don't stop as new Rino's will always be trying to infiltrate.

Didn't only vote for him, but revealed his endorsement in a very public news conference two weeks before the election where he thought it would have maximum impact.

Then did a repeat in 2012.

Yep. He was a “Republican” who voted nothing but Democrat for 20 years.

************

Basically he was the epitome of a typical Republican. Always anxious to bend and appease.

I think Condoleezza Rice voted for Hussein as well.

I doubt if he ever really was an “R”.

And this was the “King” RINOs: McCain and Romney, so if he didn’t even vote for them, that suggests he pretty much was straight-up Rat all along.

He forgot to mention that General Colon was a RACIST.

Abandoned the Republican party to endorse the Black 'O'.

What a bush league “look at me!” comment by President Trump.

Poor timing at the very least.

0-dimension chess at its finest.

TRUMP. BIG MISTAKE.

Big mistake to shoot off that mouth before the General was even buried and his family in mourning

Geez Trump. This time you cannot claim Powell attacked you first so you had to fight back.

Ever consider that Colin Powell with his misinfo on Iraqi WMD ( if it was misinfo) was a victim of the same shoddy inept politicized deep state intelligence bureaucrats that try to shape every POTUS foreign policy

Yes Colin Powell was transfixed by obama, called him “ transformative”…and then backed Hillary. At least Powell’s choices were seemingly grounded in his own values. You think he wanted John McCain or Romney as alternatives? That’s RINOism,

But a BIG VALUE Colin Powell held was his dedication to serving this country. To which his family emigrated. Service In Vietnam …and beyond.

I know Powell made some hard decisions that history has and will show to be wrong. Like maybe his decision in Desert Storm to not authorize the slaughter of 100,000 Iraqi troops fleeing from Kuwait to Baghdad on a “ highway of death”. We could have annihilated them. But doing so was repulsive to Powell the man, not the General. Had he done so, as a General, history suggests the reinvasion in 2003 would never have been necessary. Saddam without an army might not have survived. What could Iraq have become? But what would America have become, transitioning from Athens to Sparta in our treatment of defeated battlefield enemies.

So yeah, I think in all the country lost a great General and leader in Colin Powell. Not a perfect man but one with principles whether you held the same ones or not.

And his wife, Alma, now suffering from covid, to whom Colin Powell was a faithful husband and for whom he stepped out of public office…I have great sympathy.

If Trump made this tweet it was classless and clueless. And may just have cost you the respect you need to succeed in future office.

Out. Here.

As long as a new party divides and weakens the GOP, the rats will support it.

The third party "thing" is only popular with those who never mastered the equivalent of 2nd grade math. Elections are decided by the swing states and swing districts. By definition they are "swing" because the voters are divided 50-50.

So can any third party "genius" explain how if the rats always vote 100% for their candidate and we split our vote 25-25, or 40-10, or 10-40, how that would ever result in "our side" winning?

The only realistic option is to primary out as many rinos as possible. Only is very extreme cases should the Bill Buckley "Lowell Weicker Option" be enacted.
