If you look closely at the picture it’s obvious that it’s not being done in a hospital and those are not legitimate surgeons. It’s probably being done in some weird establishment and being viewed and performed as some sort of satanic ritual.

One of the saddest aspects of this is the mental-health community standing by watching this in silence. How is this not a sign of mental illness? At least for the time being, until the mental-health community decides it's just a normal form of self-expression, persons who deliberately cut themselves are seen as needing help. How is it different if you pay someone else to mutilate you?

Of course, taking a stand like this would probably require the mental-health community to reassess the normality of people wanting to mutilate their genitalia because they think they were born into the wrong-sex body.
