I think they are probably all variants of Deep State actors.
Byrne and Flynn most obviously and creepily, but Powell and Wood too.
Oh dear..what are the posters here going to do now ..the ones that excoriated those of us that said powell and wood would be a disaster.

I saw reports that powell had hired Wood in her defamation case. Not sure if that ever happened but perhaps the behind the scenes of that story caused a rift.
Lin Wood became suspect when he started going on cable tv infotainment channels when his client Nick Sandmann still had pending lawsuits. His interests seem to be more oriented towards becoming a celebrity than helping his client.
Well Bagster has already stated that he was wrong on Linn Wood.
Me? I am not taking a side yet as I am still digesting all of the recent allegations.
Never really had a side to begin with.
Something happened inside Lin when Isaac Kappy died in 2019 after exposing the pedophile cult in Hollywood. Isaac was on a mission and he committed suicide. If you didn’t believe that, you were a lunatic. Lin never believed it. He saw Isaac Kappy’s proof and it affected him greatly. He was desperate for Trump to see it. He felt responsible for his death in a way. I’m not offering excuses for him but I saw the changes to Lin evolve on Twitter. When John Roberts refused to hear the evidence, some thought it paved the way for Biden. In the same time frame only months later, Jeffrey Epstein would commit suicide, and his Lolita Express friend, Steve Bing would commit suicide, and another Lolita Express friend, Ron Burkle’s 21 yr old son would die mysteriously. Tom Hanks would move out of the country. All within months of Isaac Kappy’s death.
Lin had been in touch with Kappy.
I think Lin literally lost it and couldn’t find an ally. He may have even feared for for his own life. Who knows?
It’s a dark world in which many reside. They hate light.

That guy promised proof of all this stuff time and time again, and produced NOTHING.
Wood is acting like my ex-husband did after a doctor put him on mind-bending drugs. He’d be behaving perfectly normal, and a split second later he’d become a maniac.

It is truly amazing how society at large has been cowed into submission at the plain old word “conspiracy.”
I wonder how many laws have been passed that outlaw conspiracy. The word is written into the criminal code.
Every time three democrats get together, they are planning a conspiracy. Ever time evil men congregate, they are planning a conspiracy. It is even mentioned in the Bible.
I noticed during the Russian hoax, that EVERY conservative commentator would say “I am not a conspiracy theorist” while all the time spending hours each day trying to expose the conspiracy that formulated the Russian hoax.
It still is being said today, as they attempt to unravel and expose. conspiracies.
To me he is acting like someone off his meds..but yes..your scenario is plausible but it would have had to start before the breakup of his firm
