Best Products it was! At least here in Virginia. They were headquartered in Richmond, Virginia. Several chains used that business model throughout the US. Not sure if any have survived.

He’s been known to quietly amble out of the store with a 50 inch flat screen.

I wore many varieties of Timex myself...winding, self-winding, electronic. As long as they were cheap. Maybe even had a few Casios. I don’t wear wristwatches anymore...probably gradually quit wearing them after carrying a cellphone.
I remember using the store in Lynchburg, Virginia. Memories of better days.
I remember seeing the store noted in the Wiki article as having the “peeling” wall. It was a real eye catcher.
In our eastern Tennessee area, we had this exact store setup, going under the business name of Service Merchandise.
