No wonder I run around like a chicken with its head cut off after eating the peel.

The result is a massive rise in greenhouse gases emissions with severely adverse environmental effects.

They keep saying this, but I don't think the words mean what they think they mean. Some examples would be nice, instead of just repeating lies.

Nope. The very reason carbon is locked into banana peels is a part of the same reason that atmospheric CO2 is good for plants... and it does NOT have significant greenhouse properties either. Long story short; CO2=good4life

What is the energy cost of all the elaborate processing, how could it be any better than simply burning the biomass/waste?
Unless you want a specific product for a specific purpose, why bother processing?

That’s what I say: Get the hydrogen out of the bananers. I just hate flying bananers. Somebody call Al Davis. He knows how to get the helium out of footballs.

I used one of these once, I think, to make fuel for my flux capacitor. Woke up in 1930?

Front. Energy Res., 16 February 2021

“Smaller particle size in a range of 425 microns to 2 mm was achieved by sieving. Particle size less than 400 microns was undesired as there may be risk of dust explosion during pyrolysis process, and accumulation of dust may cause blockage of pyrolysis reactor outlet (V Birtwistle, 2003).”

Didn't banana peels work in the Mr. Fusion of Back to the Future?

These guys can't keep their lies straight. In 2019, they feared bananas would become extinct and now they want to make fuel out of them.

I am doing my part to fight global warming.

I eat a banana EVERY day!

Unfortunately, it is not working in Seattle.

Current temp: 38 F at 1 PM.

Normal high temp: 49 F.

“Fast-spreading fungus could drive bananas to extinction”

Damn, there goes my IRA where I invested entirely in Banana Futures.
