Height now becomes a reason for colonoscopies.

The “Take Charge Of Your Health” Ping List
This potentially high volume ping list is for health articles and studies which describe something you or your doctor, when informed, may be able to implement for your benefit.
Now keeping a new list for conditions expected to concern at least 1% of the population. Ask to be on either the “Common Issues” or “Everything” list.
Please email or private message me if you want on or off of a list and of which list you desire.

Oh good grief.
So will medical AIs now be suggesting all sorts of stuff on the basis of mere numbers, instead of on individual biology?

So. Some genius figured out that taller adults have taller rectums and therefore an increased risk of cancer.
It took 20 years of schooling to figure that out.

Are taller people at higher risk simply because they have longer colons? Maybe the risk is constant per square inch of colon, but tall people simply have more square inches of it.

Still rather be tall (6’4”) than short.

A skinny tall person would have a smaller colon in mass than an obese short person?
To: ConservativeMind
Ok, I will go on a diet to shorten myself.
To: Berlin_Freeper
As a person who identifies as exactly a foot shorter than you are, I stand for all miniature people all over the world!

Get a Colonoscopy if you are 45 or older. I had 8 polyps in my colon when I had mine and it may have saved my life.

They should really look at torso height if the length of colon is the operative risk. Leg length shouldn’t matter but accounts for most differences in height.
Would the Dutch have a higher rate of colon CA than Filipinos or Peruvians?
