I imagine the dark side would be cooler. The polar regions too.

If we ever decide to land there, we should do it at night.

If we evolved on a planet with much different solar and environmental conditions we would still be lucky.

The explanation of the reason for the very large increase in the amount of heat sounds just like how an induction coil works.
“Luck” can’t explain evolution. In fact, “luck” is akin to a lack of a rational reason. You evolutionists out there seem to abdicate your thinking faculties to the hope(belief) that something can create itself from nothing.
Maybe that would work to fund your retirement? LOL
To: Honest Nigerian
This topic isn't about evolution, so sod off.

Yeah, sure. Make fun of science if you want.
Global warming is real and happening soon; scientists predict that in only three months North America will be markedly warmer than it is now.

Excellent studies...
Any subsequent Nobel will need to go to the supercomputer...
Maybe the concept of merging two competing theories to find a solution could be applied to the current FR flame-war over the Russo-Ukraine war...

To: SuperLuminal
One of the purported drawbacks to the big collider in Switzerland (and predicted drawbacks to the failed superconducting supercollider) was that Nobels in Physics would have to be shared among dozens or perhaps hundreds. Historically, I think most are shared. There's only one physicist in history to win it twice, and it was in different areas of physics, and he shared it with two others both times.
