A movie that I have seen about 5 times.....It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World. A huge cast of well known actors and the story line is great.

Watch “A Patch of Blue” for Elizabeth Hartman’s haunting Oscar nominated performance. A wonderful actress who unfortunately took her own life.

Never a Richard Burton fan and totally never a Burton + Liz Taylor fan - hated every movie they did together and thought they were always overrated.

The movie that included Taylor that I liked best was Giant.

I liked Jack Lemmon in comedies or at least comedic roles, but didn’t like him as a drama character.

I did not think A Patch of Blue was Poitier’s best.

Liked the Hustler - thought Gleason and Newman were perfectly cast.

Hustler is best; Mockingbird is important and well done.

The others are touchy-feelie, where the psychologist knows all and the people are hopelessly weird, clueless and not in control of their lives at all.

Some think the ever lovely Ava Gardner, is at her most accomplished and talented in this one.

I’m a bit more taken with her in On The Beach, a few years before.

Could have spent his Final Days on earth with a Goddess, but Peck left.

what a Maroon!

Elizabeth Taylor in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf was only 34 when the movie came out. Being married to Richard Burton and her drinking and smoking really ruined her looks.
