X-files was kind of a clown-show.

I knew people who loved it, but never watched any until recently. I find the plots to be too ambiguous to be satisfying as stories. Blurry and weak. I also don't think Anderson is particularly attractive. If the show were produced today, they would not cast her.

Per the story, she went through a reception line for a grip and grin, and she thinks that was an “intimate” meeting. I understand the feeling. My own personal favorite of such events was an intimate dinner with Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan, along with several thousand of their closest friends. We didn’t get a grip and grin at that event, however. I guess Gillan wrote a bigger check for a smaller event.
