Indian style or perhaps lotus.
Hands with phone were resting on the wheel at 6 o’clock.
Decided I’d take the next exit for coffee.

Reported the girls on a high school lunch break were killed when their vehicle equipped with only four seats collided with a semi truck hauling rocks...Only the 16-year-old car’s driver and front-seat passenger were wearing seat belts...Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Wednesday.

OHP Trooper Shelby Humphrey said Tuesday night that the girls’ car was making a right turn when it collided with the truck, possibly a U-turn.

I knew what 2 beers, 6 beers would feel like and if 8 or more beers I would end up kneeling next to the porcelain throne.

With pot you never knew what it was going to do to you. Alot of times almost nothing to once starting to hallucinate. Was never a fan because of that.

I drove in one of those things once.
a hot redhead cowgirl in a pickup truck laughed at us in a parking lot.
I told my friend never again...

Re: 118 - Hey, wasn’t there an MVA that happened at an unusual intersection that you discussed a few months ago?

The picture at 118 appears to show an intersection and traffic pattern that could trip up a young driver.

In vino veritas. I always believed that drugs/alcohol amplify a person’s true personality. If he is gentle by nature, he will become more gentle and caring. If he is stubborn or angry by nature, he will become more hostile and aggressive. If he is pessimistic by nature, he will become despondent and possibly suicidal.

It makes sense as drugs relax a person’s inhibitions.

If that’s what the car looks like……..

I feel for the first responders who have to literally pick up the pieces.

There was a deadly crash on Rt 20 in LaFayette, NY many years ago.

A car full of 16 year old girls pulled in front of a semi traveling on Rt 20 and they never stood a chance. The driver never even had time to react. I know the spot and he would not have seen them until it was too late.

Official story was…… nobody knew why it happened.

The mother of a girl who had been in the car but got out just before the crash, said the kids were racing each other around a small turn off, and this woman’s daughter got out of the car to make it to school on time, while the other girls decided to take just one more lap.

She missed being killed by less than a minute.

In another situation, a friend’s brother got killed when oncoming traffic crossed the double yellow line. Same official story; they don’t know why it happened. Matter of fact, they implied it was the deceased’s fault, when it wasn’t. But my friend knew and someone was protecting the truck driver and the company he worked for.

So I have a lot of suspicion about the official versions of the story when we’re told that they don’t know what happened.

This derives from a failure of prudence

Excellent comment. This country is suffering from a gigantic lack of prudent thought which has its basis in lack of critical thinking.

This is not definitive evidence, but is useful. If say, one of the six did not have any measurable amount in their blood, suggesting that they did not inhale smoke actively or passively within the window of detection, either they were separated from the other five while they were smoking, or that the other five were not smoking marijuana recently.

These are the roundabout paths of logic detectives need to follow. Individually they are indecisive, but together they lead to a preponderance of evidence.

Thanks for the heads-up, Fury. The MVA you mention here might have been that limo crash in upstate New York some time ago. I was up in that area last week and thought about taking a ride past the location just to see what it looks like up close, but I didn’t have the time.

I was up in that area last week and thought about taking a ride past the location just to see what it looks like up close, but I didn’t have the time.

The limo was coming down a hill, steep enough to gain significant speed. The brakes didn't work properly due to lack of strict maintenance. The people died when it hit a bank and stopped instantly crushing the bodies that were thrown forward. The owner was an FBI informant who apparently leveraged this relationship to skirt various legal responsibilities, like maintaining his fleet.
