Family suspected that it was possibly related to vaccine which he recently had gotten. No autopsy was done so we will never know for certain, not in this lifetime anyhow.
I would have warned him about it, he trusted me because he knows (knew) that I did not say serious things mindlessly. He would not have submitted if we had spoken about it.

Summer of death?
This wanna be anti-christ trying to gain some traction to be significant again?
Well, you don’t know me. I am not, nor will I ever be vaxxed. I did, however, experience the Covid19 and just return to work and society last Wednesday after missing a week for the benefit of my employees’ and fellow church goers’ comfort.
None of my employees have taken the jabs, and the youngest (26 when he got the Wuhan flu) stayed home and cruised through it like a cold. That was a year and a half ago.
By the time, if they got sick enough, to get to our ICU, their lungs were already so badly damaged from covid and from the associated bacterial infections that the ventilators were the only thing let for them. Lesser amounts of o2, bipap and cpap were always tried first. Luckily most who had to come to hospital never got that sick but got better with supportive therapy. The vents “didn’t damage” the vast majority of covid patients that needed them...their lungs were already “ground glassed” out.

Of course you are correct that the vents were not causing the damages, but this is the very popular misconception which I doubt we will ever see persons convinced else of.
Multiple co morbidities in patients were the death of them when they hit the ICU and we lost 80 percent of those. Then again a person just coming to the ICU for any necessary reason comes with a 30 percent chance of death generally. A bad flu outbreak in a given year can lead to similar 60-80 percent mortality rates in the co-morbid groups or the frail elderly. I hate what the politicians have done to our nation! We probably didn’t need the vaxxes at all and would have weathered the virus and the substrains without upending the nation. Yes people would have still died but normal precautions would have sufficed.
Covid has unique characteristics that are differentiated it’s in some specific effects vs other respiratory viruses and bacterial infections but supportive therapies are similar. The monoclonals are the best hope in arresting a covid infection progressing beyond it’s milder expressions, something that is not available for other viral illnesses. Imagine a monoclonal agent for Hepatitis C?
