Neither of us are vaccinated (70s). Neither have had Covid. We do take Covid prophylactics though. We try to see our children and grandchildren whenever we can. Didn't wear masks except when required. Went to stores etc, especially stores that were lax about masks. Had workmen in house, etc.
Daughter, son-in-law, son, daughter-in-law all got vaccinated. Grandchildren vaccinated also. Husband's relatives all vaccinated. All these people got Covid after they got the vaccines. We saw the grandchildren just before they got diagnosed with Covid. Never caught it.

Almost everything in biology and medicine is statistical rather than absolute. Can COVID sicken or kill you? Yes it can and the likelihood depends on your age, health, whether you had it before and how closely you deal with other people. The shot itself has a risk, although the government, healthcare companies and the news media are doing their damndest to his that fact. Also, COVID is mutating just like the flu does, so even with regular shots there will always be a lag between a new strain and vaccines for it.
So, Bill, you are a five alam pants-on-fire liar for saying absolutely safe. Now give us the real numbers and allow the people to make their own decisions now that we are in the third year of two weeks to flatten the curve.
