It’s strange. I wouldn’t say they have “turned on” Biden yet. When the media is against someone, you KNOW it.
I think they have definitely weakened their support.
They still run interference for him and burying (not covering) things that would objectively be newsworthy, but then again, that may be out of force of habit, and more to a general allegiance to the democrats than to specific activism for Biden.
They are in a huge bind. How on earth it’s possible for the VP to poll lower than Biden is amazing to me, but that’s what the numbers show. If it wasn’t for that, they’d have asked him to resign by now. (I don’t believe they’d try to use 25th amendment on him. They’d just push him to quit and use Hunter as the threat). SO I think they are going to wait and see how bad the mid-terms turn out, and if they can save seats with every (fake) ballot counting.

I think they are keeping mayor Pete B in mind. He would likely agree to go along with whatever they tell him to do, IMO.

the problem for biden is not just 2024. the problem is 2022.
once the republicans get back control of congress—they’re going to quickly move to impeach biden.
the question for democrats is — are they going to be for or against biden’s impeachment.
They will then turn around and say "Well, Trump is old, too, so he better not get elected in 2024 or we will have to 25th amendment him for senility as well - even if he's not."
