Most of the malls in Indianapolis have been taken over by gangs and feral teens. Many malls here have been shut down or torn down. This one is on the far southside.
The mall heydays are over and have been for a long time here.
The gangs and the ferals just move further outside of Indy to do their dirty work.
I don’t live far from here and use to frequent this mall in college. Greenwood mall is near or on County Line Rd, aka, the line that separates Marion and Johnson County. Greenwood is very nice. But Johnson county has all sorts of problems on the North Side because of what comes down from Indianapolis. Indy is a mess and no one in the city is talking about it.... why.... because Soros Prosecutor Ryan Mears won’t prosecute people. People come down from Marion County not realizing that it is not Indy. People smoke their blunts in the mall parking lot, do some thieving or etc. and get a real surprise that they don’t get the Ryan Mears treatment in Johnson County.
Shelby County and Hancock counties get body dumps from Indy. In June, a doctor was doing his daily walk and got hit and died. It is one of a rapidly rising pedestrian death rate. The Indy Star refuses to cover it, because of their liberal B.S. WRTV is talking about it a little bit.
I have a law prof who went on a “ride along” where the police are not arresting people for drug possession, they merely take the cocaine from them and let the criminal drive off. Criminal gangs walk the canal just a block from IUPUI and shootings are through the roof. It’s very scary to be in parts of Indy, and not the parts that are known for being bad. It is heading out into the “Donut” counties.... Luckily you head just a little south and the dirt bags from Indy won’t head into those areas..... afraid of the hillbillies with the guns.
Indiana is very very conservative, in spite of its RINO jerk governor Eric Holcomb. Parts of the state are libertarian and last election, Rainwater the Libertarian candidate for governor, won more votes in some counties than the democrat candidate. But the liberals mostly live in Indy, Bloomington, and the Chicago area. And where they are at, things are a mess. Holcomb caters to Indy, we’ll see how he acts after this shooting. Where the liberal aren’t, people have lots of guns and aren’t afraid to use them.
This couldn’t happen near a Dicks. They don’t sell guns any more.

I am interested to see if it was two gang members with just regular guns that had a shoot out.

Our Governor just went to to Davos this year. I want him out but our State has a big RINO problem. The GOP in Indiana are mostly RINOs. We need someone to shake it up.

I was taking some courses in Cambridge England back when I was young and naive.
There was some kind of bombing there before I got there. Can’t remember what it was but I seem to recollect it had to do with animals and not the IRA. I was shocked.
I think INDY has a RINO problem. I don’t know about the rest of the state. I do think the Bar association is a big part of that. They get to “select” candidates for court of appeals and state supreme court position, and they pick democrat lite or Rinos. Those people get picked by the governor. Then those left leaning justices pretending to be republicans suggest things to the legislature, which they do thinking that these judges are conservatives and they are not.
Don’t even get me started on our stupid expungement allowances. Another Rino/democommie compromise. You know, in Indiana, you can beat your wife and children, commit battery, do drugs, and then get it expunged and go be a teacher.
I agree, Holcomb is a problem. BUT, Rokita is doing well and it looks like we’ve bucked the Rinos with Morales so.... maybe we’re on the up and up.
