UPDATE | At least four people are dead, including the shooter and two others have been transported to Eskenazi Hospital, according to Greenwood Police Chief James Ison.

Because the further one is better equipped to handle those types of injuries.
if you are bleeding out from a gunshot wound a hospital a few miles away would seem to be better than one in downtown Indianapolis..unless I guess you have them somewhat stabilized

Not really. The shooter had a rifle which was already legal to open carry in Indiana (no license exists for that). The good Samaritan had the concealed pistol and may or may not have a LTCH. I’m sure we’ll find out. If the Good Samaritan was Constitutionally carrying, the media will bury it. Either way, he or she saved a lot of people.
Simon Property malls are “gun free zones”. Good thing signs have no power here in Indiana. All they can do is kick you out.
Soros Prosecutor Ryan Mears won’t prosecute people
The dead perp shoulda paid more attention in geography class: Greenwood is in Johnson County and Ryan Mears ain’t the prosecutor.
Whether Indy police are worth anything or not is irrelevant. If the prosecutor doesn’t prosecute, then the police won’t do their job. In Indiana, the chief law enforcement officer is the prosecutor, not the sheriff or the chief of police.
