I think the net effect is estimated to be about a one and one half percent reduction in the German GDP for the year.

Many will be able to muddle through somehow.

There is going to be a lot of bad PR for Russia though, and they will likely get the blame for anything and everything this coming Winter.

Just chalk it up as another skirmish in the fight for Climate Change.

The arabs use handfuls of sand; plenty of that around, but it’s got to be irritating. LOL.

Germany may face shortages of such staples as toilet paper and cardboard

When I was there in the 60's there wasn't a whole lot of difference between the two.

And that bad PR is going to come to Americans via CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, CBS and a couple of assorted fish wraps? All they do is lie, so who cares?

We should send them some seeds to grow these nice 3 leafed plants. It would take their minds off their other troubles fast.

It looks like Germany and other EU countries are going to have a rough time of it this coming fall and winter.

Same her, I’m afraid.

Speaking of ...

I pulled down an 8-pak of TP I had on an upper shelf in a storage closet. I feared it was so old [15 years or so] it might be at the point of deteriorating, but it wasn’t.

The noticeable thing: those rolls and sheets are HUGE compared to the current ‘regular size’ TP rolls/sheets.

After a while, we seem to get used to and adapt to product shrinkage.

ASB Military News

Attempts to isolate Moscow are placing the West in a stupid position, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told the Sputnik radio station on Wednesday.

“The isolation of Russia, announced by the West, has turned into the West’s self-isolation from the rest of the world,” she pointed out. “No matter what happens, and no matter how they intimidate others, or what guidelines they send out, or what conditions they set, or how they run after various countries’ presidents and ministers, they are only placing themselves in an increasingly stupid position and pushing themselves deeper into a dead end,” the Russian diplomat emphasized.

According to her, the Western elite don’t have any diplomatic or political tools left to turn things around.

“I understand that they may have viewed it as their endgame. Perhaps, they did raise the stakes to the extent that they had to go all in, and even gamble on things that don’t exist, namely, their reputation,” Zakharova pointed out. “They bet everything but their gamble failed to pay off. And now, they are unable to comprehend that their bet is starting to go against them more and more with each passing day, affecting the economic and political situation, leading governments to fall, causing a deep political crisis and a brutal internal political divide in the US,”

Cmon, this is much ado about nothing. Germany and Europe have lectured Americans on the benefits of going green. They'll go long on these babies.

A combination of toilet, bidet and drier, controlled by an electronic panel next to the toilet seat

1. The toilet seat cover is opened and closed automatically and falls slowly with damping. The toilet seat is kept human-comfortable temperature, which assures you to enjoy warmth and comfort brought by the high technology.

2. Human body induction protection function: The built-in sensor switch is on only when human seats on. It can avoid switching on accidentally like unintentional touch or child playing. It features energy-saving operation and intelligent switch-off.

3. It cleans with warm water and the water temperature is adjusted with 4 ranges. The anus can be washed under reciprocating movement, it plays the role of massage. The 3-in-1 silver ion nozzle can prevent bacteria permanently and clean itself before and after use. The cleaning method of current from 9 holes and bubbles is designed specially for women which is more sanitation and tidy.

4. After defecation the anus can be dried by warm air, so the toilet paper is not necessary. It is good choice for patients with waist sickness, obese person, especially for patients with hemorrhoids. The remote control type toilet has two additional functions: Catalyst deodorization and night lighting.

5. The jet siphonic design ensures water economy. To flush the feces uses only 3.7L water. It not only saves the water but to help you save money.

6. All the electronic components are made in America and Japan. The CPU control is stable and accurate, water- and moisture-proof, so the toilet can be used in wet conditions. Triple safety protection can prevent against high temperature, electricity leakage and dry heating. So you can use it without any worries.

Strange coming from her as she has indicated being a huge ass already.

Nothign causes panic worse than toilet paper shortages- Bet germans are loading up shopping carts with it now in preparation like people did in the US during the pandemic when there were shortages before stores started putting limits on how much could be bought at one time-

It is technologically possible to convert leaves into paper. Notice that I did not say quality paper.

I have the basic design of that which just squirts and nothing else. I bought it at Home Depot for about $100 and installed in myself.

It came with your choice of three nozzles-- one hole for a high pressure cleanse, two for medium, four for gentle. I put in the single hole unit. Yeah, it is cold but it does the job. I use on the average of 4-5 squares on a no. 2. I figure it has paid for itself in TP savings.
