Okay, help me out here. The way I read the story is that it starts when she just plows into a garage. And then when other people become involved she hightails it out of there and runs into another house at which point the car bursts into flames.
Is that about right?

Her brother "Nathan died in a car crash shortly before his high school graduation. Heche has claimed his death was a suicide."
Heche has made a number of controversial and public statements about her family that cannot be verified, or have been denied by her family.
In spite of her mental health issues, she seems to have an excellent work ethic.
