Here’s what’s at stake for HBO’s ‘House of the Dragon’ and Amazon’s ‘The Rings of Power’

When I had Prime, I did get interested in “The Man in the High Castle”. Except for one episode written by someone else (theme: Nazis taking LSD), the rest of the series was exceptional despite the fact that I later learned that it was only inspired by the short book. By Season 3, they made one of the more sympathetic characters into a homo pervert. As soon as he’s kissing another guy I turned it off. For good. I hope their tracking got that. I also canceled Prime.

It’s why I don’t generally watch any more series made in the US or Britain. Russians actually do some good shows and they are on YouTube, no faggotry there.

I doubt they'll be showing any melons in the LOTR due to the #metoo movement. So it's going to be dull and there will be no "eye candy". No one is going to watch.

I have been anxiously awaiting House of Dragon! But, seeing the looks of the Actors in the trailers, the aura is not appealing what so ever. It was such a turn off, I may wait before I shell out a few buck for HBO stream...

Source material in the LOTR universe describes elves as light skinned plus several other adjectives not associated with the Amazon subjective attack on the source material's author. Hair color though can vary with one sect who are blonde not brunette.

Other than that, Amazon should have just created their own fantasy land from scratch, however, they again, have subversion to do in tearing down an existing franchise just like Disney with that space franchise and Viacom with that other space franchise.

Sounds like that other HBO series which did very well in the ratings, and which my brother watched. He never watches TV, but he’d read that book or books. Guy taught himself to read by 3, so TV is too dumb for him.
