Doughnuts will increase your waistline substantially. When i needed to put on weight after surgery etc. They advised me to eat dounghnuts and milkshakes - a lot! It worked!

A friend of mine actually gained weight while on chemotherapy by drinking lots of milkshakes. Don’t know if doughnuts were part of that diet as well.
