This is how I see it too. There is a compromise that furthers both if you are objective. The firewall against science is unproductive and can hinder discovery of spiritual consciousness.
It is very humbling to discover how little I know and how much greater knowledge exists. Just being aware of God is very humbling.
In prayerful meditation I visit a level of consciousness I call the Divine Library. You need to know enough to ask the questions, and the answers are there.
The problem is that the higher processing speed and expanded capacity of higher consciousness makes it easy to understand in epiphanies, but when you return to this earthly level, it doesn’t fit. Often I need to make several trips and bring back small pieces that fit in this small mind.
Yes, our perception of reality is a function of the frequency of consciousness from which we view it.
When Jesus taught us to Love God, He was telling us to raise our consciousness to the highest level possible. Prayer is the best tool to do that.
When Jesus said “Love thy neighbor as thyself.” He was telling us to find and remove the obstacles to Love that exist within us.
Love is the glue that holds the soul together so the soul can grow closer to God.
Without Love, the soul wobbles like a wet blanket on the spin cycle of a washing machine.
I have yet to see a credible NDE. I compare all to the bible, and they all fail.

When a person dies, their conscious awareness expands beyond their physical body through their soul. The human soul is much larger than the physical body it manifests.
The judgement or life review process described in Hebrews 9:28 is merely our conscious awareness expanding through these stored memories. The same happens when a person says, “My life flashed before my eyes.”
The stored memories in other people’s souls are physical to my perception. They become physical when viewed from a higher frequency of consciousness.
There is a layer of darkness between here and Heaven. Some religions calk this layer of darkness the “bardo.” This layer serves as an etheric fence to keep souls holding onto sin out of Heaven.
There are illusions an misshapen beings like gargoyles in the darkness. When a soul perceives them, fear grows. The heaviness of fear consciousness causes the soul to drift back down here. Thus souls containing “sin” which are obstacles to Love in their soul. Prohibit them from crossing to Heaven.
When people die, I say a prayer for the portal to Heaven, the tunnel, to open and the Light of Heaven to shine down upon the soul and guide it across. When the Love and Bliss hits a soul, it functions as a kind of tractor beam, guiding them across.
When the Light from Heaven touches a soul, it casts out all fear.
Fear is the tool of satan and used to keep souls stuck here.
How do I know? When the Light of Heaven reaches down, there is no mistaking the feeling beyond words. If someone offered me a million dollars to give up experiencing it just one time, I would laugh at them.
The Love and Bliss of Heaven is beyond words of description. I feel it while thinking of it to write these words. Some of you can feel it while reading this as we are all One and connected at the higher levels.

At death, we pass from our body into an afterlife. Yet the process is not always smooth and certain and is subject to misdirection through circumstances, intervention by other spirits, or the fear or refusal of the spirit of the dead.

In 2016 I was with a woman when she died of bone cancer. She heard her corgies barking several days prior to her departure. I heard them too even before she mentioned it. They were there to greet her.
Animals have souls that are similar to humans in many ways.

Thank you for finally sharing with us. The paranormal and other dimensions are something I have experienced ever since I can remember. I’m told it runs in the family and is genetic. Until I was about 10 I thought it was normal and everyone had this ability.
It has always been hard to explain or share because of the 12th century firewalls of superstition that immediately go up when you start to talk about it. My personal experiences have always been positive. Like in your experience the entity did not know they were causing harm. This is what has been with my own experiences also.
Many times they are stuck between dimensions because they feel they have undone business yet to get done and they were cut short before they could do it. And like the entity in your experience most don’t even exactly understand themselves what is happening or why. All they know is they feel they need to come back to tie up loose ends.
Then they find they can partially through attachment. I like that you use that term, because it is more realistic than using possession as a term. Using possession immediately raises the 12th century firewall and that all such cases are evil. When like in your experience and my own this is not the case at all.

I am so glad to hear this. There are some dogs and and cats I want to see again. I also want to see my grandmothers and my great aunt. My uncle. I was sick in the hospital with a sinus infection as a young mother with children. I had been unhappy in my marriage. Tired. Not loved, in a critical environment. Spirits came to me and said I had done enough and I could come home. The choice was mine. I thought about it and decided my two year old little boy needed me and I would stay. In the days following healing powers were zinging around me healing me and I was able to get better and go home. Exactly one year later, my beautiful daughter was born. My life was not easy, but the fear of death was gone, it would have been easy to slip through at that moment in the hospital, just a letting go. So I know there is a lot we don’t know.
Pharmaceuticals such as SSRI’s like Prozac block people from finding, embracing, and resolving the wounds in their souls.
Thus while the do sometimes save lives, they hinder soul growth.
This is what causes the “flat affect” in people when they use them.
When a person on these drugs say prayers, nothing happens. Their prayers are like the prayers of Pharisees, falling upon deaf ears.
The drugs block a person from going lower where their unresolved problems create discomfort, but also block them from raising their consciousness in prayer.
That being said, NEVER STOP USING THESE DRUGS COLD TURKEY. They do save lives.
They should only be stopped:
1. Under the supervision of a Dr.
2. Gradually, never cold turkey.
3. While using a therapist or pastor to help us learn to resolve the wounds as they surface.
Otherwise the flood gates will open and the person gets overwhelmed, returning to the drugs more addicted than ever.
This happens with seeing deceased family too. This recently happened with my Father when he passed. During his last hour he was pointing to the corner of the room and repeating “Mother-Brother”... It was obvious they had came for him so I finally told him it was ok to go to them and that we would all be fine. Then he went...
Nothing can kill a soul that God created. It can be shackled, hindered, and sidetracked though.
Even death is just another learning experience for the soul.

It is important to always look upward in prayer for advice. There are lower level impostors that can appear as lost loved ones. I’ve encountered this with people many times.
