Climate Change is sure driven by natural phenomena like the Tonga Volcano. Tonga’s eruption will effect the earths atmosphere for years to come.

One of the ways I have been able to get through to some liberals is to explain and repeat often that not that long ago New York and Chicago were under a mile of ice, and that the ice WILL return. There is nothing we can do to stop the coming cold, but adapt. When I was very young scientists proposed that there was a pattern of 100,000 years of cold, with 10,000 years of warming; back and forth, long periods of cold with short warm periods. Lately it ‘could’ be, perhaps, 10,000 to 15,000 years of warmth.

We live such short lives in the grand scale of it all. People seem to believe that the weather they experience at their time on Earth is the ‘normal’ temperature of the entire planet. I remember all the magazines and books, not so long ago, with titles The Coming Ice Age. When it became a little warmer than ‘predicted’ the tables were turned. Instead of We’re All Going To Die In The Cold, it became We’re All Going To Die In The Heat. Then, when the temperature rise ceased, they were too embarrassed to return to We’re All Going To Die of Cold, the instituted We’re All Going To Die Period. Climate Change morphed into Climate Crisis, since as we all know, a crisis is a terrible thing to waste. The Natural Carbon Cycle seems to have been erased from all the textbooks. They have bastardized the language so much that Carbon is now evil, even though 99.99999% of life on Earth is carbon-based. (this actually makes sense since the democRATS are the Party of Death).

Climate change caused by fossil fuel use on earth???

FACT: Artic ice borings going back over a hundred thousand years show climate change is constant!... Temps up, down...up, down...up, down...forever on earth....

AND WHERE WERE THE CARS????

That article proves my point that there are so many variables it is impossible for humans to change the Earth’s overall climate. What about Jupiter, Saturn, and Mars’ gravitational pulls which variably distort Earth’s orbit around the Sun? Is that what causes the phenomena in the article? Helps if you learn the definition of the word SYSTEM!

No such thing as fossil fuels, so it's not being used.

‘Then we can talk about the natural release of ocean hydrates (carbon) when oceans cool.’

and when that happens we can all wear those beloved facemasks again for no particular reason that some people on this forum were championing...

"the large-scale climate changes of the last several decades."

"Changes" from what?

When you fail to define your terms and establish a baseline, you fail to prove your hypothesis.

Remember, Politifact is the oldest and most biased of all “factcheckers.” They do not require evidence, only opinion.

Scientists found that the sun and moon do affect Earth’s climate, but their influence is small…

Really now? Quick thought experiment: Take away the sun. Now, how does the Earth’s climate look without the sun? Conclusion: The sun’s influence on the climate is FAR from “small.”

Envirowacko claim fact checked and proven FALSE.

Politifact is based on “Political Science” and not “Science”.

A common trick in “disinformation” is to add an obviously false narrative to a true one, which is then used to throw out both. For example, adding Bigfoot and the Loch Ness monster to the subject of UFOs.

In this case, Lunar phase has nothing to do with the argument, so it is the false narrative. Solar activity is the sole driver of climate change outside of things like massive volcanic eruptions, large meteor hits, etc.

Humans produce only a small fraction of the trace gases in our atmosphere. And “trace” means that they are already a fraction. So it is a fraction of a fraction.

Early on, the MMGW proponent assumed that the gigantic systems within the atmosphere were precariously balanced, so that the tiny contribution of man could upset the balance, *from which* the system would spiral out of control.

Proposing about a dozen of these precariously balanced systems, NONE of them proved to be precariously balanced, instead being remarkably stable and self correcting.

Properly speaking, MMGW advocates have the (Biblical) “Nimrod Syndrome”. They think that if they build a tower that reaches unto heaven, they can ascend it and “be like God”, something they truly crave.

But individually or collectively, mankind comes nowhere close to pushing the climate around, no matter how inflated their individual and collective egos.

Assume for the sake of argument tha AGW is actually a scientific Theory rather than a political narrative. Why then is “PolitiFact” weighing in on it? And why is their evaluation based on consensus rather than failure of the theory to predict results?

And spraying heavy metals into the atmosphere for the last 25 years has no effect, either.

Shameless propaganda which Andy Nguyen cannot prove and leading scientists disagree with him. Andy also seems bitchy.
