I will admit I’ve never seen or gotten bed bugs from any horses I’ve been around in my 70+ years. I don’t worry about Covid in the horses or me and my wife. :)

Compared to Deep State, bedbugs are cute and cuddly.

Another off-label use for verteranary medicine. Lets see, now we have Ivermecton Fenbensodole, and Flurolaner as theorpuetic drugs for humans. What are they not telling us?
To: george76
Ivermectin does absolutely nothing against fleas and ticks but might against secondary parasitic infections. I tried fluslaner but it made my dog increasingly nauseous so I didn’t renew the prescription.

Ivermectin is the main ingredient in Heartgard to prevent heartworms in dogs. I just checked and its not listed in NexGard [for fleas & ticks].

I use ivermectin for heartworms and for giardia. It's good for protozoans and nematodes in general. We have problems with ticks and Lyme here. I wish it would work on them.

The nausea could be dose related?

Maybe but the dosage is calculated for the weight of the dog.

You can’t repurpose Ivermectin for this! It’s a horse dewormer and good for nothing but deworming horses. The FDA and CDC taught me that.
Damn them all to hell!
