There weren't any there. But DePape was wearing a sweatshirt, shorts and running shoes. Paul Pelosi was wearing a pajama top and boxers.

It did happen fast, for sure. Once the cops arrived, DePape made his move.
The video was in court yesterday. So was the hammer, which belonged to DePape, who brought it along.
Pelosi never referred to DePape as a friend.
The cops didn't break any glass. They entered through the front door. They found the broken patio glass that DePape told them he broke through when they retrieved the backpack that DePape told them he left there.

If D’ Souza says it’s on a police recording I believe it probably is as D’Souza is a pretty professional type guy.

I’ve read and liked D’Souza ever since he was a youngster writing in my subscription to National Review and the magazine stained my hands. He’s wrong here. There was some coverage about the dispatcher’s call for the cops to do a check on Pelosi, and it made reference to DePape as a “friend” becaue he was relaying, third person, what was said on the 911 call. But it was DePape who called himself a friend, in an attempt to ward off the cops during the 911 call. Pelosi never called him a friend, because he wasn’t; he was a complete stranger.
