"This calving event has been expected and is part of the natural behavior of the Brunt Ice Shelf," said BAS glaciologist Dominic Hodgson. "It is not linked to climate change."Poor Dominic will be searching for a new job tomorrow.

Only if he recants his heresy.

The British Antarctic Survey (BAS) said the formation of the new iceberg—in a natural process called "calving"—was not due to climate change, which is accelerating the loss of sea ice in the Arctic and parts of Antarctica.yeah, no bias here.

"...climate change, which is accelerating the loss of sea ice in the Arctic and parts of Antarctica"Nice how they present liberal theory/propaganda as fact.

I may have missed it, but I did not see any mention in the article that it is summer in the southern hemisphere. If memory serves, it is warmer in The Good Old Summertime. Even in Antarctica.

Anything you ever wanted to know about how people "in the know" REALLY FEEL about this stuff, can be found by looking at this pic of the Obama's home on Martha's Vineyard.

It certainly requires a $100 billion dollar UN study, to be funded by a global tax on gasoline, firearms, water consumption, meat, and alcohol. Exceptions apply.

Personally I blame satellites. Seems the more we watch, the more ice breaks off. Coincidence? I think not.

Yes! This is the first nature observation this year that isn’t due to climate change.

Quick, put a tow rope on it and drag it to the Red Sea, so the Saudi Arabians may have huge quantities of potable water for irrigation and to supply their needs for urban growth and modern conveniences.
I had heard somewhere where such a plan was under consideration by the Saudis for those very purposes.
