As long as she lived as full a life as she could, she did well.

if you get a pancreatic cancer diagnosis, you are dead, and usually within months.
All the money in the world is not going to save you.

Nick, can you start a Death Ping List for us?

I was impressed that Alex Trebek held onto life as long as he did.

Ruth Buzzy Ginsberg lived nearly 40 years after hers was first discovered. Don’t tell me they don’t have a cure that they only offer to elites.

One of my very best buddies from about the 7th grade on died of pancreatic cancer in 2015. He lasted about 14 months. It’s a very tough way to go.
In 2020, after dating a very short time, his widow and I married. I had known her since about 1970 and I knew she was a “keeper”. I now know why the good Lord kept me single for 18 1/2 years after my divorce. She is a wonderful lady. I am truly blessed.

I think a lot depends on the stage of the condition.
My relative that was stage II is still alive 9 years after diagnosis.
The other relative diagnosed approximately the same time was stage IV and survived for 26 months.
Both of them suffered and fought courageously.

Thanks. I was going to go with Trans-Uranium Institute but yours sounds better.

Steve Jobs was a LOT younger and held on for 8 years, hardly a cure, and he had the "good" kind, caught it early, and threw all of his financial resources at it.

That he did. I think he lasted almost 2 years. I do hope they use the innovative technology for the right purposes.

When did we become a supermarket tabloid ?I still wonder what TUI is. But not enough to go beyond one web search.
We wouldn't get obscure news from Liverpool in a supermarket tabloid.
